Our Story
The Beginning
We both began playing tennis at a young age, and quickly developed an enthusiasm for the sport. As we improved and started playing competitively, we began breaking strings often. Our stringing expenses quickly added up, and soon after, we bought a stringing machine with the hopes of starting our own business in the future.
Stringing Together a Business
After building a successful doubles partnership on the court, we embarked on our business partnership and opened Advantage Stringing in 2021. Our mission has always been to provide an affordable and accessible stringing option for tennis players in the Twin Cities. We believe that traditional tennis shops charge way more than necessary, and we aim to provide the same quality at a reasonable price.
Expanding to Coaching
After 3 years of business, Advantage Stringing now services over 180 unique customers. In 2023, we started Roseville Tennis Camps, and embarked on our journey of owning and operating a tennis program. We offer both group and private lessons for players of all ages and abilities, and host weekly events for junior tennis players in the Twin Cities.
